  • What is the deductible?

    The deductible is provided in the paperwork you received with the vehicle on Page 1. For the past few years it has been $100, but it is best to look at your contract to confirm.

  • What is covered?

    Coverage is included on Page 1 and Page 2 of your contract. The following is not a legal description, but rarely a quick reference for convenience. Please refer to your contract for full details and exclusions.


    Subject to the Deductible, we will pay 100% of the parts and labor costs in the event of mechanical failure of the following "Covered Parts" only:

    • ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts inclusive of: pistons - crankshaft and main bearings - connecting rods and bearings - camshaft and bearings - timing gear - timing chain - rocker arms - shafts and bushings - valves - valve springs - guides and seats - push rods - lifters (if collapsed) and oil pump. Externally: Distributor shaft - gear and bushing. Engine head(s) - engine block - gaskets and seals - oil pan - valve covers, if damaged as a result of failure from a covered internal engine part. All internal parts within any turbo/supercharger housing.

    • TRANSMISSION: All internally lubricated parts contained within an automatic transmission inclusive of: clutches - bands - pumps - carrier assemblies - internal shafts - (main - intermediate - reaction) - thrust washers and earings - governor - valve body - servo and accumulator assemblies - torque converter - throttle valve cable - case and pan if damaged as a result of failure of covered automatic transmission parts. Internally lubricated parts contained within a manual transmission inclusive of: main shaft - coupler shaft - all gears - synchro hub assemblies - bearings - shift rails and internal shift forks - input shaft synchro rings and retainers - case and pan if damaged as a result of failure of covered components. Internally lubricated parts within the trans-axle of a front-wheel drive including ring and pinion gears - internal bearings - axle(s) and case if damaged by covered components.

    • DRIVE AXLE: Parts contained within the differential housing including ring gear and pinion gears, bearings, differential housing if damaged by failure of internally lubricated parts, axle, and universal joints.

    • AIR CONDITIONING, HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM: A/C compressor, evaporator, heater core, blower

    motor, radiator, fan and fan clutch, thermostat, thermostat housing.

    • ELECTRICAL/FUEL DELIVERY: Alternator, starter, fuel pump, injection system, coils, solenoids, electronic control unit.

  • What is not covered?

    Exclusions are listed on Page 2 of your contract. The following is not a legal description, but rarely a quick reference for convenience. Please refer to your contract for full details and exclusions.


    The contract does not apply nor cover repairs to parts of the Vehicle which are not Covered Parts, which includes, but is not limited to:

    • Maintenance items including coolant, fluids, oil, filters, spark plugs or tune-up parts, seals, or gaskets.

    • Replacement and wearable items including belts, hoses, tires, brakes, batteries, suspension, shocks, steering parts, power windows, power locks, sensors, lights, keyless entry system, cruise control, radio, CD or any media player, navigation system.

    • Brake noise, wind noise, squeaks, and rattles.

    • Cosmetic items including paint, mirrors, door and window handles, upholstery, wheels, power sunroofs, moon roofs, interior compartment leaks, convertible tops.

    • If any mechanical failure arises due to Buyer's failure to perform routine maintenance and maintain the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, you will not be covered under the Contract.

    • Defects or repair problems that result from a collision, abuse, or negligence after you buy the Vehicle.

    • Repairs or replacements covered by the manufacturer's warranty or that the manufacturer otherwise agrees to make.

    • Wear and tear not resulting from the failure of a Covered Part.

    • Vehicles used for commercial, rental or delivery purposes.

    • Rental car expenses. We will not provide a loaner car while your Vehicle is being repaired.

    • We are not liable for and this Contract does not cover the loss of the use of the Vehicle, loss of time, expense for telephone, gasoline, transportation, lodging, loss or damage of chattels, loss of revenues, inconvenience, or other incidental or consequential damages.
